“I felt despair at the sheer magnitude of the deprivation I saw;
I was humbled by the dignity, love and generosity of those with so little;
I am inspired by the energy of the social entrepreneurs I have met;
I believe that one drop at a time, we can all make a difference”
Seema
1.2 billion people live in India – that’s 20x the UK’s population
More than half live on less than £1/day – that’s 10x the UK’s population

Growing up as a British Asian, Seema attributes her success to the buses of opportunity that have come her way. She has established The Sharma Foundation to provide opportunities for those who have been less fortunate, in collaboration with 3 impassioned social entrepreneurs working at grassroots level in India.
